We are seeking a skilled and experienced ESG Reporting Senior Manager to join our dynamic sustainability consultancy team. As the ESG Reporting Senior Manager within the reporting division of our sustainability consultancy, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our clients' Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting strategies. This senior-level position requires an experienced professional with a deep understanding of ESG frameworks, regulatory landscapes, and a proven track record in managing people and delivering impactful ESG reporting solutions.


About you:

You will have extensive experience and expertise in strategic ESG. Having held senior or leadership positions in ESG or a related field, you will play a crucial role in shaping our sustainability initiatives. Your passion for sustainability and proven track record of guiding teams will be instrumental in driving our commitment to excellence in sustainable practices.


Key Responsibilities:

ESG Reporting Strategy:

  • Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive ESG reporting strategies aligned with global standards (GRI, CRSD, SASB, TCFD) and client-specific requirements.

  • Provide strategic guidance to clients on improving ESG performance and transparency.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their stakeholder expectations and develop tailored ESG reporting frameworks that address their unique needs.

  • Foster strong relationships with clients, ensuring client satisfaction and trust in our consultancy's ESG expertise.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Stay abreast of evolving ESG regulations and reporting requirements globally.

  • Ensure clients are informed and compliant with emerging ESG disclosure standards.

Data Management and Analysis:

  • Oversee the collection and analysis of ESG data, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and relevance for reporting purposes.

  • Utilize data insights to drive strategic recommendations for clients' sustainability initiatives.

Reporting Excellence:

  • Develop high-quality ESG reports, ensuring they effectively communicate clients' sustainability performance and impact.

  • Provide clear and concise narratives, incorporating quantitative and qualitative ESG metrics.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead a team of ESG reporting professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

  • Coordinate internal and external resources to deliver exceptional ESG reporting services.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Accounting, Engineering Environmental Science, Applied Science, Sustainability, Carbon Management). 

  • 5+ years of experience in ESG reporting, sustainability consulting, or a similar role.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of global ESG frameworks and standards.

  • Experience in grant and funding applications.


Skills and Competencies:

  • Exceptional understanding of ESG reporting principles and methodologies.

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to derive actionable insights from ESG data.

  • Knowledge of regional and international carbon reporting regulations.

  • Excellent project management and organizational abilities.

  • Effective communication and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Leadership qualities with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.

  • Applicants should have their own transport and a full clean driving licence.
